Pretty Little Lacquer

Hi there! I knew exactly which color I wanted to replicate for this challenge. Since Tiffany’s has trademarked the color it is really hard to find a polish that is the exact Tiffany Blue. When you actually compare a Tiffany bag, box, and jewelry bag all three are slightly different shades of Tiffany Blue. China Glaze For Audrey is supposed to be one of the most comparable, but since my goal is to use only OPI colors during the 31 day challenge, I had to figure out how to recreate this color.

I decided that a combination of OPI Green-wich Village and OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook would achieve a close enough Tiffany Blue. I consulted with my husband on whether a layer of OPI CFMC over OPI Green-wich Village or mixing the two colors best compared to Tiffany Blue. He felt layering was a better match.

I should have gone with my gut and mixed the colors before painting because when I finished the mani I really did not like being able to see little streaks of Green-wich Village through the CFMC layer. I added a white stripe to my ring finger, but it seemed a little plain so I attempted to paint a bow.

I also have OPI Taylor Blue, I will compare this to the various Tiffany containers to show how it measures up.
